Friendly staff, easy to find, some where to have a good night's sleep as beds comfortable.
The hotel is old and the decor needs up dating. Unfortunately the chef was not there during our stay, do not no why, so no full cooked breakfast, but plenty of toast and jam.

This place is quaint and perfectly clean. It has a convenient central location on the outskirts of the town center. 3. the hotel is right by the restaurant, London, and the bus station.

Nice big room, good value, good breakfast. Our room had a "four poster" bed and a big bathroom. Wifi worked in the room. Lovely old building with atmosphere and history.
The atmosphere and history includes some low ceilings, with which the very tall might struggle. Also the music might get loud if you're directly above the bar on a wekkend.

Loved our stay there, it was very pleasant. Came here for 2 days, the hotel was fancy and newly decorated, it had comfortable location so close to the bus station and the town centre, the beer garden, and pubs.

The staff were very friendly and inviting, made us feel welcome and we didn't feel out of place. The room was tidy and big enough for out needs. The hotel itself was very clean and the rooms were very nice to view and comfortable and there was plenty of seating so that you could sit out of the way and have a private conversation without being disturbed. The breakfast was great, lots of choice, far too much for me. Overall it was a great place to stay and we would definitely stay again.
only small things - we slept at the front of the building and I could hear the traffic so difficult to sleep that's if you are a light sleeper, which I am. There was no bin in the bathroom and would have liked a full length mirror in the bedroom.

The the location suited us as we were visiting family in Haverhill and could walk to their house. All the staff were pleasant. The breakfast was very good.
Needs updating, little tired, could use a handy man to fix odd items.
